What is Roastr?
Roastr is a specialty coffee deals aggregator. We track pricing, value, and active sales across hundreds of independent roasters' own websites — so you can compare bags and spot deals without opening twenty tabs.
We don't sell coffee. When you find something you want, you click through to the roaster's own site and buy directly from them at their own price. No middleman, no markup, no account required to browse.
How to read the Coffee Table
The Coffee Table (at /coffees) shows one row per coffee — a standard retail bag from a roaster we track. Here's what each part means:
The headline price is always for a standard retail bag, usually 12oz or 1lb. The sizes available line shows every bag size the roaster carries for that coffee, so you can click through and pick the one that suits your budget or how much you brew.
Browsing and filtering
Filter the Coffee Table by type, origin, roaster state, or bag size using the sidebar — or the Filters button on mobile. The search bar finds coffees by name across every roaster we track.
Looking for a natural-process Ethiopian? Set Type: Single origin, Origin: Ethiopia, and search natural. Browse by roaster to see who carries it, or switch to the flat view to sort by price.
For active sales and discount codes, check the Dealspage. That's where roaster newsletters and sitewide promos surface. The Coffee Table shows what's available; the Deals page shows what's on sale.
How to read a Deal Card
Each deal card shows the roaster, discount amount or code, deal type, and expiry — with a direct link to buy on the roaster's site. The Deals page pulls from roaster newsletters and storefront monitoring. Here's a typical sale card:
20% off5
Sitewide, all coffees included
Heads up: deals usually do not stack
You'll sometimes see a card showing both a welcome offer (like "15% off for new customers") and a separate sale code. These are almost always mutually exclusive. You can apply one or the other at checkout, not both. We surface them together so you can choose the better deal, but don't expect them to combine. If in doubt, try the sale code first. Most roasters' checkout pages will tell you if a code is invalid alongside another offer.
Still getting rolling
Prices refresh nightly from roasters' storefronts — not in real time. Roastr is a work in progress, and we're continuously adding roasters. Some will show "prices coming soon" while we catch up with their catalog. A deal you see may have ended by morning (we try to catch those and mark them expired).
If you know a roaster we're missing, especially a smaller regional one, hit the Suggest a roaster button in the site header. We read every submission and prioritize adding roasters people actually want to buy from.
Thanks for being here early. The site gets more useful the more roasters we cover, so your patience while we build is genuinely appreciated.
Frequently asked questions
- What is Roastr?
- Roastr is a free specialty coffee deals and discovery site that tracks prices, sales, discount codes, and new releases across hundreds of independent roasters' own websites. You browse and compare here; when you find something you want, you click through and buy directly from the roaster — Roastr takes no cut and sells nothing itself.
- Is Roastr free?
- Yes, completely free. Browsing the full coffee catalog, all deals, and every roaster page requires no account. A free account is only needed for personalization: following roasters and saving coffees to your shelf.
- Does Roastr take a commission or sell coffee itself?
- No. Roastr is a deals aggregator, not a shop. Purchases happen on the roaster's own site at their own price. There's no middleman, no markup, and no affiliate relationship — Roastr earns nothing from your purchase.
- Can I stack a welcome offer with a sale discount code?
- Usually no. Roasters typically treat a first-order welcome offer and a sitewide sale code as mutually exclusive. Roastr surfaces both so you can pick the better one, but expect to use only one at checkout. Try the sale code first — the roaster's checkout will usually flag a conflict.
- Do I need an account to use Roastr?
- No. The full coffee catalog, all deal cards, and every roaster page are publicly accessible — no sign-in required. A free account (magic-link, no password) is only needed to follow roasters or save coffees to a personal shelf.
- How do I suggest a roaster?
- Use the Suggest a roaster button in the site header — no account required. We read every submission and prioritize roasters people actually want to buy from.
